IN-MOLD MOLDED ARTICLE, LAMINATE THEREOF WITH THERMOSETTING RESIN, AND PRODUCTION OF THE LAMINATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molded article of which the surface skin can be strongly adhered to a fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin and which is formed from cross-linked particles of a resin mixture by making the content of a styrene- diene copolymer in the resin mixture at the surface of the particle to be higher than that inside the particle. SOLUTION: This molded article is based on a melt mixture of a polyolefin resin (A) and a styrene-diene copolymer (B) having a diene content of 10-60 wt.%. As the resin A, a polypropylene (co)polymer is pref. in terms of excellent heat resistance and mechanical strengths, a propylene-olefin random copolymer being esp pref. Resin A and copolymer B in a wt. ratio of (51:49)-(95:5) are mixed, melt kneaded, and pelletized to give resin mixture particles, which are crosslinked and foamed to give foamed particles having a gel content of 3-70 wt.%. A desired in-mold molded article can be obtd. by selecing resin A having a low flowability and copolymer B having a high flowability.
