发明名称 METHOD FOR PRESERVING FRESHNESS OF GRAIN
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable grains such as rice immediately after polishing to preserve freshness by shape-packaging the grain together with oxygen scavenger in a flexible packaging bag comprising a multi-layered barrier film whose oxygen permeability and moisture permeability exhibit specific values and making a state free from oxygen with a specific time taken. SOLUTION: When grain such as rice immediately after polishing is to be preserved, the grain is packaged together with oxygen scavenger under a reduced pressure in a flexible packaging bag comprising a multi-layered barrier film wherein oxygen permeability is 30 cc/m<2> /24 hr or less, moisture permeability is 10 g/m<2> /24 hr or less and a thickness is 40μm or more. At this time, shape- packaging comprising processes of sealing an opening, making a small holes on the flexible packaging bag to make a pressure in the bag at an atmospheric pressure, and then closing the small hole again is done wherein 24 to 96 hours are spent to make a state free from oxygen. The oxygen scavenger comprises iron-containing oxygen scavenger stored in an air-permeable packaging material whose air permeable rate is 3000 to 12000 sec, while 0.05 to 5 wt.% of adsorbent is contained as required.
