PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which is very efficient in transferring from an electrostatic latent image carrier to an intermediate transfer body and therefrom to a transfer material. SOLUTION: In the image forming method of transferring a toner image 72 formed on the electrostatic latent image carrier 1 to the intermediate transfer body 20 and then, the toner image onto the transfer material, while bringing the intermediate transfer body into contact with the transfer material and fixing the toner image thereon by a heating/fixing means, the surface layer of the intermediate transfer body 20 incorporates 20-80 wt.% high lubricant material and toner is of electrostatic charge image developing magnetic toner having toner gains incorporating at least binding resin, magnetic materials and wax and inorganic fine powder and set so that the DSC endothermic main peak of the toner ranges from 60 deg.C to 120 deg.C. |
