PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform clutch connection without any shocks irrespective of deterioration with age of a clutch plate by increasing a clutch connection speed more than a connection starting speed when an edge rotating speed detected before synchronization with a clutch is increased. SOLUTION: When clutch connection is started and an engine rotating speed and a clutch rotating speed are not synchronized with each other, by detecting that the changing speed of the engine rotating speed temporarily becomes a value 0 and the engine rotating speed is increased from being decreased, clutch sliding caused by the deterioration with age of a clutch plate 12 is determined. If the wearing or the like of the clutch plate 12 caused by the deterioration with age is detected, since a clutch stroke amount is lengthened, and ECU 80 supplies a signal for setting a clutch connection speed to a value larger than that for a new clutch to an electroneumatic proportional control valve 31. Thus, no forcible clutch connection occurs and, since good synchronization is always provided between the engine rotating speed and the clutch rotating speed, clutch connection is smoothly performed.
|
