<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously solve the problems of a clutch connection shock and clutch sliding in a half clutch area by changing its connecting speed in the half clutch area at the time of automatic clutch connection. SOLUTION: At the time of the automatic connecting operation of a clutch 8, three kinds of clutch connecting speeds are selected based on the ON/OFF combination of three-way solenoid valves 78 and 79. The connection of this clutch 8 is performed in the order of high-speed connection, low-speed connection, middle-speed connection and high-speed connection. When a stroke sensor 88 detects a position before the start of a half clutch area during first high-speed connection based on the signal of a shift end time from a transmission 71, a controller 72 switches the three-way solenoid valves 78 and 79 and changes a clutch connection speed to low-speed connection. Then, after the passage of a specified period, an internal timer circuit changes a clutch connection mode stage by stage to the middle-speed connection of a high-speed side and further high-speed connection. Thus, the fear of a clutch connection shock is prevented and also the sliding of the clutch 8 is prevented.</p> |
