PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient processing rate at the time of magnifying or reducing an image by magnifying or reducing inputted image data in a storage device. SOLUTION: An image processor 1 is provided with a plotting processor 2 generating image data, an image storing element 3 storing image data and a D/A converter 6 outputting image data to a display 40 such as CRT. Then, the element 3 is provided with a magnifying/reducing processing part 4 and a memory cell 5. In addition, the element 3 includes an input/output buffer, an X/Y scaler, a scaling data generator generating magnifying and reducing data of an image, a data register group keeping magnified and reduced data, a serial right writing controller, etc. The processor 1 magnifies or reduces the image within a storage device with respect to inputted image data. |
