<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of hardening operation and to improve hardening precision. SOLUTION: This crankshaft hardening machine has a work supporting device for rotatably supporting both ends of a crankshaft 50, a heating body 23 through which a journal part and a pin part of the crankshaft 50 are inserted to undergo induction hardening, and a pressing device for pressing the vicinity of a heating coil 24 of the heating body 23 in the axial direction of the crankshaft 50, which is the direction of an arm part of the crankshaft 50, to prevent the movement of the heating body 23 caused by the generated reaction force of magnetic field at the time of hardening the journal parts formed on both ends of the crankshaft 50.</p> |
