发明名称 ROLLING METHOD IN THE SHORTEST TIME WITH REVERSE MILL
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve production efficiency by shortening reversing time from the release of a preceding pass till the biting of the next pass in the automatic reversing operation of a reverse mill such as the hot rolling of a thick plate. SOLUTION: The finish time ts of screw-down positioning is determined from the changing amount (x) of the screw-down location from the present screw-down location of a roll to the screw-down location of the next pass. In case that this ts is larger than a specified value, deceleration of rolling speed V is started when the remaining length of the material to be rolled which is in rolling at this time becomes a prescribed length L1 , the change of the screw- down location of the roll is started at the point of time when the material to be rolled is released from the roll and, after stopping the material to be rolled, the material to be rolled is reversed so that the finish timing of the screw-down positioning of the roll is made to coincide with the biting time of the material to be rolled in the next pass. In case that the ts is smaller than the specified value, when the remaining length of the material to be rolled becomes the prescribed length L2 , the deceleration is started and reversing is executed subsequently to this deceleration.</p>
