PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the flowing ability by forming a valve seat so that a seat surface is inclined over the periphery thereof and that an intersection of tangents, which contact with the seat surface and which are opposite to each other in the radial direction, surround one surface or that a circulating seat surface is extended at a right angle against the vertical line in relation to the flowing direction. SOLUTION: A flow-in conduit 1 has a valve seat 2, and the valve seat 2 is inclined at a predetermined angle (about 45 degree) and extended, but in the case of a flap valve, the valve seat is inclined at about 90 degree and extended in the lateral direction. A valve surface 3 of the valve seat 2 is inclined at a predetermined angle against the vertical line in relation to the flowing direction, and extended. All intersections of tangents 5-10 and 5a-10a, which contact with the seat surface 3 and which are opposite to each other in the diagonal direction, surround one surface 4. The angle of inclination can be the same or it can be different over the full circumference of the valve seat. Each angle is determined on the basis of the operating condition of the flowing medium. A merit such as improvement of function and reduction of flowing resistance can be obtained.
|
