摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acrylic fiber, having excellent adhesion to especially a rubber-based matrix and capable of providing a fiber having remarkable reinforcing effects thereof by usual bonding treatment without requiring a special treatment. SOLUTION: This acrylic fiber is obtained by applying a treating agent consisting essentially of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ester and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether to an acrylic fiber composed of a polymer containing >=95 wt.% acrylonitrile bonded thereto. The resultant acrylic fiber has >=20 kg/cm rubber adhesion measured according to a withdrawing method. The acrylic fiber can preferably be achieved when the number of ethylene repetitions of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ester and the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether is >=8 and <=16 and the content of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ester and the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether in the treating agent is >=50 wt.% based on the total amount of the treating agent. Furthermore, the acrylic fiber can more preferably be achieved when the pickup of the treating agent by the fiber is >=0.1 and <=2 wt.%.
