PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capacitate a driver or the like to check the position of a shift lever easily even if an ignition switch is turned off, pertaining to a shift lever position informing device visibly displaying this shift lever position. SOLUTION: This shift lever position informing device is equipped with a parking position switch 6 to be closed when a shift lever is in a parking position, an ignition switch 4 connecting one end side of this parking position switch and an electric power unit 3 to each other, a switching element TR connecting one end side of the parking position switch 6 and the electric power unit, a control circuit 12 driving the switching element TR to be turned to ON or OFF, and an informing means 7 connected to the other end side of the parking position switch 6, and this informing means 7 has a first informing shape being informed by closing the ignition switch 4 and the parking position switch 6, and a second informing shape being informed by opening the ignition switch 4 and by closing the parking position switch 6, respectively. |
