PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus which suppresses generation, adhesion and growth of air bubbles in the passage of the connection member connecting an ink supply source and a printing head by simple constitution to prevent non-ejection of an ink liquid. SOLUTION: A seal member 40 made of rubber is molded by using a mold wherein the roughness of a mold surface for molding the passage wall surface 47 of the seal member 40 is 2.5μm or less on the basis of the ten-point surface roughness prescribed by JAS B0601 (1994). Since the passage wall surface of the seal member thus molded is smooth, air bubbles are hard to adhere and, therefore, it can be suppressed that air bubles adhere to the passage wall surface 47 of the seal member 40 to grow and the non-ejection of an ink liquid can be prevented. |
