PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus that is capable of preventing non-jetting of ink by preventing generation of bubbles at the initial induction of ink liquid in the inside of a supply passage formed at an ink jet head. SOLUTION: At the initial induction of ink liquid, sucking operation by a purging means is slowed down or stopped temporarily until the ink liquid induced into a supply passage is supplied to each of jetting channels 1. As flow of the induced ink liquid is stopped temporarily or slowed down until being supplied to each of the jetting channels 1, supply of the ink liquid to each of the jetting channels 1 is made moderately. |
