PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select and execute a plurality of selection items corresponding to a plurality of control actions. SOLUTION: A long and thin lever-like operating switch CL is provided being extended in the cross direction of an automobile from a steering column SC. The switch CL can be oscillated in a vertical direction and in the longitudinal direction of a body. A plurality of selection items such as air conditioner, navigation, CD, and TV are displayed in a menu form on a display 7 provided at a center console 6. The switch CL is oscillated vertically, for instance, to specify (select) one selection item out of a plurality of selection items. In this state, the switch CL is oscillated backward to execute control action corresponding to the specific selection item. The switch CL is oscillated forward to cancel selection item display on the display 7. |
