PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that a first copying time and the productivity of copies per hour are improved when an enlarged copy is formed and the image area of a color enlarged copy is enlarged after a fault such as image blurring is eliminated and the first copying time and the productivity of the copies per hour are improved in the case of a color sequential image forming system color copying machine. SOLUTION: The image forming device having a function forming the image by executing the variable power of an original image is provided with a first carriage 208 scanning an approach section and an original and a scanning control part 239 allowing the carriage 208 to scan the original at a speed V when the variable power is executed and at a speed V/m when a variable power rate is (m) and allowing it to scan the original at such a speed that the speed in the approach section is higher than the scanning speed V/m when the enlarged image of (m) magnification is formed. |
