PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous body with socket capable of discriminating a socket assembling direction before assembling the socket to a panel. SOLUTION: At a flange part 6a of a socket 6, only a circumferential part is provided greatly in radial direction to prevent incorrect assembling of the socket 6. On an exterior wall face downwardly of the flange part 6a, one set of recesses 6g and 6h are provided symmetrically in diameter direction to be gripped at a chuck part of an automatically assembling machine. Each of the recesses 6g and 6h is provided in which the recess 6g is slightly greater than the recess 6h in groove width only on the bottom face side. On the exterior wall face downwrdly of the flange 6a, a columnar protrusion 6i is provided in the vicinity of the recess 6g. When the luminous body with socket flows a transmission line, the protrusion 6i is engaged with two alignment brushes provided in the mid part of that transmission line, thereby making it possible to change orientation of the socket 6 to a specific orientation. |
