<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting cover for a long-scaled material and a protecting cover device for the long-scaled material provided with the protecting cover, which are formed by a simple structure, which can quickly surely fix the protecting cover by simple work relating to a mounted body in order to protect the long-scaled material. SOLUTION: A device is constituted by a tubular body 36 provided with a cut split part 36a continued in a lengthwise direction, in one end edge part of a peripheral wall of the tubular body 36, a shaft part 37a of a fixed screw 37 penetrating a support member 1 is forcedly screwed, a screwed part 38 is provided in a lengthwise direction, also in the other end edge part of the peripheral wall, an insert part (screwed part 38) inserting the shaft part 37a of the fixed screw 37 is provided.
