PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical solid electrolyte fuel cell capable of obtaining uniform current density throughout a solid electrolyte, thus to improve the output density of the cell. SOLUTION: This battery cell has a porous air pole formed on one side of a cylindrical solid electrolyte 3 and a porous fuel pole 4 formed on the other side. In this case, sheet resistance values for the air pole 2 and the fuel pole 4 are 0.05Ω or less at 1000 deg.C and a difference ΔRs (|Rs1 -Rs2 |) between the sleet resistance value Rs1 for the air pole 2 at 1000 deg.C and the sheet resistance value Rs2 for the fuel pole 4 at 1000 deg.C satisfies 0.03Ω or less. |
