PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold pressure of a coal gasifying furnace to a constant level while holding pressure in a piping between a fuel pressure regulating valve and a fuel flow rate regulating valve to a constant level by arranging a coal gasificating furnace pressure regulating valve between a de-sulfurizer and a coal gasificating furnace, in a plant for generating power using coal gas as fuel. SOLUTION: Coal gas 7 generated by reacting coal 1 and oxidant 6 in a coal gasifying part is dusted and de-sulfurated in a gas puriflicating part 400 which consists of a dust filter 420, a desulfurizer 430, a gas-gas heat exchanger 440, and the like, and power generation is carried out in a complex power generating part 500 using the purified gas as fuel. In this case, a coal gasifying furnace pressure regulating valve 91 is arranged between a heat exchanger 440 and the de-sulfurizer 430, and is controlled by a controller 51 with such a way that a value of a coal gasificating furnace pressure indicator 61 and a coal gasifying furnace pressure setting value 21 are inputted into a function generator for calculating an opening of the coal gasifying furnace pressure regulating valve 91, the opening of the valve 91 is calculated from a deviation between those values, and the value is used. |
