PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea from leaves of Thuja orientalis that is readily drinkable, has the smell not inferior to jasmine and shows nutrient action by vitamin C and medicinal actions for antitussive, expectoration, hemostasis, analgesic (for rheumatism), hypotension and the like and has inhibitory action to 5 α-reductase (for acne, polytrichia, prostatic hypertrophy). SOLUTION: Thuja orientalis is a plant in the cypress family and this objective tea is prepared by removing the lipid-soluble components from the leaves of this plant by extraction and powdering the extraction residue. |
