PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick line corner coordinate calculation system and a thick line forming system which can perform their processes at a high speed. SOLUTION: A segment is formed as a thick line having the designated thickness based on the vector data which designate both start and end points of the segment and also the data which designate the thickness of the segment. For this purpose, a DDA(digital differential analyzer) process is carried out up to a distance equivalent to the thickness that is designated from at least the start or end point of the segment based on the segment tilt that is calculated from the vector data, and the corner coordinates of the thick line are calculated by a 90 deg.-coordinate rotation process. |
