PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mother glass substrate from which multiple liquid crystal panels can be taken and which prevents unevenness of alignment from generating on alignment layer. SOLUTION: On square mother glass substrate 101, square liquid crystal panels 102a-102d each are arranged in a matrix form and multiple-printed. Around each panel 102a-102d on the mother glass substrate 101, a continuous pattern 11 is formed surrounding each liquid crystal panel 102a-102d. On the mother glass substrate 101, on the outside of the part surrounded by the pattern 11 (a part except each liquid crystal panel 102a-102d), various patterns 103 formed of a metallic film are formed. |
