PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an outgoing call/an incoming call independently of the intention of a subscriber not by inhibiting the outgoing call or the incoming call only but by simultaneously inhibiting both the outgoing call and the incoming call. SOLUTION: A drive detector 10 is provided to an automobile, by which an outgoing call/incoming call inhibit message is informed by a transmission reception section 12 and an antenna 11 in the case that it is detected that the automobile 9 is driven at a prescribed speed for a prescribed time. A portable telephone set 1 is provided with an outgoing call/incoming call control section 5 that has a function of recognizing the notice from the detector and controls the outgoing call/incoming call based on an outgoing call/incoming call notice informed from an antenna 3 and a transmission reception section 4 and has a function of raising a warning from a speaker 6 in the case of making a speech while the control notice is raised.
