SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis cyclic lactams, in part, E-caprolactam by interaction of aminocarboxylic acid nitrile with water in liquid phase in the presence of heterogeneous catalysts based on titanium dioxide, zirconium oxide, cerium oxide or aluminium oxide.
