FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel injection device has pump piston 8 reciprocating under action of hydraulic drive. Working chamber 13 closed by piston 8 is connected with valve nozzle of pump directly adjoining pump housing. To control amount of injected fuel and beginning of injection, electromagnetic valve 31 is provided which is placed in fuel channel connected with pump working chamber. Channel is designed for filling and/or unloading of pump working chamber. Fuel channel is arranged to intersect cylindrical hole where pump working chamber is located. Electromagnetic valve is arranged at input of channel. EFFECT: reduced volume of high pressure, provision of compact design of fuel injection device. 25 cl, 4 dwgw
