<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent partial dropping of a heat insulation member while reducing crack occurrence of the heat insulation member caused by expansion/ contraction of a duct, and prevent breakage of a cylindrical film body in a flexible joint device for high temperature. SOLUTION: Flanges 3a, 3b which are respectively fixed to duct sleeves 2a, 2b separated from and communicating with each other are connected to each other by means of a cylindrical film body 4 which is freely expanded and contracted. A heat insulation member is layered around stud bolts 5a, 5b stood from the sleeves, which insulation member is prepared by coating a ceramic fiber brancket as stuff material with metal or inorganic material. In such a flexible joint device, the ceramic fiber brancket has tensile strength not less than 1.2 g/cm<2> and shot of 45 micrometers by 44 wt.% or less.</p> |
