PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission efficiency with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Plural KARAOKE (recorded accompaniment) communication terminals 1 and a head end 2 where many music data and video data for KARAOKE are stored are connected to each other through a CATV network 3. The head end responds to a request signal from KARAOKE communication terminals 1 to answer back with return data ΔM (data for KARAOKE music reproducing) for its request contents. If request contents of the request signal transmitted by one KARAOKE communication terminal 1 coincide with those from another KARAOKE communication terminal 1, this KARAOKE communication terminal 1 performs intercepting operation to receive return data ΔM to another communication terminal 1. If there is a KARAOKE communication terminal 1 which performed the intercepting operation, the head end 2 ignores the request signal from this communication terminal 1. |
