摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the collision of optical signals transmitted by plural terminals without using a confirmation message by allocating the transmission wavelengths of respective optical communication terminals inside a transmission signal band so as to be different and generate the light of the wavelength other than the transmission signal band when the light of the plural wavelengths among them is generated. SOLUTION: To the respective optical communication terminals, the different adjacent wavelengths for generating a 4-wave mixing phenomenon are allocated as the transmission wavelengths and inputted optical signals are branched into two by a photocoupler 102. Both of the signals are passed through the prescribed band of first and second optical filters 103 and 104 for main signals and for collision detection and a collision judgement part 107 judges whether or not it is the collision of the plural optical signals. Depending on whether or not it is the collision, an optical switch 105 abandons the optical signals of the first optical filter 103 or supplies them to an optic/electric converter 106 and a packet processing part 111 and makes them be appropriately processed. Thus, the signal collision is detected at a high speed and the next transmission operation or the like is quickly started.
