<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate large torque by a sliding face by positioning the rotating center of a hinge nearly in the center of the total thickness of a main body part and a display part so as to make the maximum diameter of the hinge nearly equal to the total thickness of the main body part and the display part. SOLUTION: A portable personal computer 2 is constituted by connecting mainly the main body part 5 and the display part 6 by a hinge for a portable information processor 1. The hinge 1 is constituted by combining a main body part side resin sliding member 12, a display part side resin sliding member 13 and a spring washer 14 in addition to a main body part side connecting part 10 and a display part side connecting part 11. A screw 20 passes through small holes 14b, 13b, a center hole 11a and a small hole 12b and is screwed to a screw hole 10b. At this time, a step part 13c is fitted into the center hole 11a. Consequently, the rotation center of the hinge 1 is positioned nearly in the center of the total thickness of the main body part 5 and the display part 6.</p> |
