PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform various decoration displays of non-scroll by only adding a simple data processing function to a device and performing the scroll display utilizing an afterimage effect by computer control on a screen of discrete dot strings having the difference of dot densities between the row and the column directions. SOLUTION: At first, a scenario of a scene number S in the program schedule of a designated program is acquired and a scroll display or a decoration display is executed according to the designated contents. In the case of the scroll display, image data designated by an image ID are bit-map-developed in a memory 61, column data discretely selected among them are written in a transfer buffer 62 and operation for transferring them to bar-shaped displayers B1-B32 is repeated. In the case of the decoration display, by executing the designated control function by the designated numbers of times, the column data are generated in the transfer buffer 62 and are transferred to the bar-shaped displayers B1-B32. When the control of one scene is finished, one is added to the scene number S.
