PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic notebook designed so as to improve a method for a user to record, refer to and utilize again personal notebooks. SOLUTION: This digital notebook description system is provided with an interactive display device 24 of pen base to be used for receiving the input of pen base and a processor 18 for generating one not mark at least for communication with the interactive display device 24 of pen base and displaying the input of pen base on the display device 24 of pen base in response to that input, digital ink has one characteristic at least, and a storage device 20 is provided for communicating with the processor 18 for storing the digital ink.
