PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery power source cooling device capable of uniformly cooling a number of battery modules arranged in parallel in a holder case and uniformly cooling the cells constituting the battery modules as well. SOLUTION: A number of battery modules 9, each of which has plural cells 7 lined and electrically and mechanically connected in series, are arranged in parallel and held in a holder case 10, so that air can be forced to flow in one direction in the holder case 10 to cool the battery modules 9 in the holder case 10. The flow direction of the air is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the battery modules 9.
