PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial sense enhancement system in which the sound with three-dimensional effect is reproduced without losing a stereophonic sense and sound articulation while minimizing loss of an original sound. SOLUTION: In the spatial sense enhancement system that receives a stereo signal and produces a 3-dimensional image stereophonic signal, spatial property assist sections 30, 40 that receive a main channel signal to emphasize spatial property and directivity, band reinforcement sections 50, 60 that receive the main channel signal to reinforce and maintain a prescribed frequency band, and channel matrix sections 70, 80 that apply matrix arithmetic operation to output signals of the spatial property assist sections 30, 40, output signals of the band reinforcement sections 50, 60 and the main channel signal are provided register to left/right signal lines. The system has a symmetrical circuit configuration suitable for processing stereo signals, enhances the spatial property of sound by using a difference between sounds of left and right channels, prevents the signal to noise characteristic from being deteriorated through the simplified circuit configuration to improve the cost performance of the system. |
