PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a non-linear distortion component, to improve a transmission characteristic and to increase transmission capacity by adding a transmission signal containing the non-linear distortion component of a transmission system being a compensation object to a non-linear circuit on the output side, generating a compensation signal varying an amplitude ratio between a signal component and the non-linear distortion component and synthesizing it with the transmission signal. SOLUTION: A first path is constituted of a delay line 3, a second path of a delay line 4, a third path of the non-linear circuit 5 and an amplitude phase control circuit 6, and a fourth path of an amplitude phase control circuit 8. A branching unit 2 branches the input signal and they are added to the first to third paths. The input signal containing the non-linear distortion component is added to the non-linear circuit 5 and the amplitude ratio between the signal component and the non-linear distortion component is varied from that of the input signal. The non-linear distortion component generated on a transmission side is extracted by using the difference of the amplitude ratio and the amplitude ratio with the non-linear distortion component of the input signal passing through the delay line 4. A synthesizer 9 synthesizes the extracted non-linear distortion component and the non-linear distortion component contained in the input signal component so that they compensate each other. Thus, the non-linear distortion component is reduced. |
