PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roll capable of preventing the deformation of a contact part with a layer forming blade and obtaining an excellent image. SOLUTION: This developing roll is provided with a shaft body 1, a conductive elastic layer 2 formed along the outer peripheral surface of the shaft body 1, an adhesive layer 3 formed along the outer peripheral surface of the layer 2, and a surface layer 4 formed along the outer peripheral surface of the layer 3. The layer 2 is formed of forming material principally composed of silicone rubber; and microrubber hardness is set to <=20 and the modulus of impact resilience is set to >=60% in the layer 2. The thickness of the surface layer 4 is set to <=25μm. |
