The system consists of a master cylinder (A) arranged to control the hydraulic pressure in the brake slave cylinder (J) which consists of an actuator (114) which forces a friction element (L) against a turning element (M) fixed to the wheel of a vehicle. The actuator (114) consists of a hollow piston (114) sliding in a sealed manner in the interior of a primary cutout (112) formed in the body (110) of the brake slave cylinder (J). The hollow piston (114) is formed with a second cutout (118) in order to slide in a sealed manner on the body (110). The hollow piston (114) defines in the body (110) of the brake slave cylinder (J), a first chamber (122) and a second chamber (124). The hydraulic pressure generated by the master cylinder (A) is arranged to communicate with the first chamber (122) by the piping (20). The second chamber (124) can be selectively connected to the low pressure reservoir (E) or to the master cylinder (A) by a three way two positioned pilot valve (H) placed in the piping (20) between the master cylinder (A) and the first chamber (122).
