PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which can briefly obtain the fluorescence emission strength of a base material having imparted fluorescence with numerical value by irradiating ultraviolet rays to the base material under usual indoor lighting without requiring the measuring conditions of a black box or a dark room and receiving an emitted visible ray for measuring it. SOLUTION: This measuring method leads ultraviolet ray irradiated from an ultraviolet irradiating device 6 through an irradiated ultraviolet light quantity monitoring light leading fiber 22 to a light/voltage converter B8 and measures it, and leads the ultraviolet to a base material 30 having imparted fluorescence through an ultraviolet ray leading fiber 21 with irradiated light quantity being controlled and irradiates it to the base material, and leads a visible ray emitted by the above ultraviolet through a visible ray leading fiber 23 to a light/voltage converter A7 to measure the strength of the emitted visible ray. |
