PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying device which has a high display speed and satisfactory operability. SOLUTION: A picture display data memory 11 is mounted (arranged) on the side of an operation and display controller 4 which controls an operation part and a display device 1, and all of contents of picture display data required for display on the display device 1 are stored in this memory 11. When a key is depressed in the operation part, information of the depressed key is reported to a main controller 2 through the operation and display controller 4. Picture display data are not transferred between the main controller 2 and the operation and display controller 4. On the side of the operation and display controller 4, next display data related to the depressed key are expanded, and the expansion result of data is outputted to the display device 1 and is displayed. |
