PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a video signal whose flicker is hardly conspicuous and scanning frequency is different, by dividing a field cycle into almost the same cycles, dividing light emitting time of each element into almost the same light emitting times and arranging the respectively divided light emitting times to the respectively divided cycles. SOLUTION: In comparison data Dr inputted to a comparator 403, the frequency of a high-order bit except the lowest-order bit is twice of a field frequency and the field cycle is bisected into the same cycles. The driving pulse width of alight emitting body 4L as the compared result of the comparator 403 is temporally bisected, they are dispersed to the respectively bisected cycles and arranged. In such the method, when the field cycle is divided into more than two of the same cycles, the driving pulse of the respective light emitting bodies 4L is divided into the same numbers of pulses with almost the same widths and the divided pulses are dispersed and arranged to the respectively divided cycles, a screen displaying frequency is made higher than the field frequency of a video signal. |
