PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the input efficiency by omitting the majority of operation for selecting and specifying KANJI (Chinese character) to be inputted out of a homonymous KANJI group, by combining the whole or a part of a phonetic reading and a Japanese reading of KANJI and inputting it in KANA or ROMAJI (Roman letter). SOLUTION: By noticing that KANJI of homonyms generally have different phonetic or Japanese readings, they are input that mixind their phonetic reading and Japanese reading. In this case, either of the phonetic and Japanese reading can be specified in nearly all cases even when only the starting KANA (Japanese syllabary) or ROMAJI corresponding to it is inputted. When a word consisting of two KANJI characters is inputted, the word can be specified even by using this method for only the starting KANJI, and consequently the operation efficiency is improved more. Therefore, the majority of operation for selecting KANJI to be inputted out of a homonymous KANJI group which is needed before can be omitted, so the input operation is facilitated and the input time is shortened. |
