PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus provided with a display part which informs a user of even the hang-up of a microcomputer for display control. SOLUTION: A facsimile equipment is provided with a printing part 1 which prints recording paper, a display part 2 which displays information, a microcomputer 3 for display control which controls the display part 2, and a main microcomputer 4 which controls the whole of the apparatus. In this case, the main microcomputer 4 monitors whether the microcomputer 3 for display control is normally operated or not; and if it judges that the microcomputer 3 is not normally operated, it drives the printing part 1 to output a report that the microcomputer 3 for display control is not normally operated. |
