PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a vehicle passing direction and to manage the entrance/exit of a vehicle by a free gate vehicle recognizing method without being influenced by forgery, alteration, pollusion, etc., by arranging a coil antenna for an ID reader based on electromagnetic coupling on a floor. SOLUTION: When a vehicle A to which a tag 5 is fitted moves from the right side to the surface of a metal detection sensor 2 using a loop coil, the sensor 2 detects the vehicle A as a vehicle. When the vehicle A reaches the surface of a coil antenna part 1, energy is provided to the tag 5 by electromagnetic waves always radiated from an oscillation coil 17. The tag 5 receiving energy transmits its own inherent ID signal. The signal, is catched by the antenna part 1 and the vehicle is specified and recognized. When the vehicle A moves to the surface of a metal detection sensor 3 using a loop coil, the passing direction of the vehicle A can be discriminated from the detection order of the sensor 2 and the antenna part 1. |
