摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To scatter heat emitted by an active component and to align the optical axis of the active component with the light guide of a passive component by forming a cavity in a silica-on-silica structure so that it is optically coupled with the passive component and fixing an intermediate element onto this structure. SOLUTION: The passive component 1 is manufactured by stacking silica layers 6 to 8. The bored cavity 5 penetrates the silica layers 6 to 8 of the passive component 1 and a substrate 3. This cavity 5 is able to contain a passive photoelectronic component 2 so that its optical axis 9 is aligned with the light guide 7 of the passive component 1. A CHIP 2 is fixed onto an electric connection part 45 of the intermediate element 4 and serves as a heat sink through a solder point S1. The heat sink 4 is formed preferably of a silicon material. The silica-on-silica structure 100 is fixed on the heat sink 4 with a solder point S2 fitted to the electric connection part 45 of the heat sink.
