<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device having an operability equal to or more than that of a mouse, to eliminate the need of securing a flat operation for operation, and to facilitate handling. SOLUTION: A center part 1, a central part 2 surrounding the center part 1 and an outer part 3 surrounding the central part 2 further are defined on the same surface. When a coordinate input object is moved on the surface, the position or moving amount of the coordinate input object 5 is detected, the moving amount and a direction are outputted when the coordinate input object 5 is moved in the center part 1 and the central part 2 and the moving amount and the direction are outputted while maintaining a rushing moving direction and a speed to the outer part 3 in the outer part 3. Output is stopped when it is returned to the central part 2 and the output of the moving amount and the direction is restarted when it is returned to the center part 1 further.</p> |
