<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming a high-quality image having no color slurring, no irregular color and no unseemly stripe pattern by restraining the impactive vibration of an intermediate transfer belt by external force so that the intermediate transfer belt can stably travel. SOLUTION: When recording paper P passes through a secondary transfer fixing part 3a, impactive force acts on the intermediate transfer belt 3 (belt tensioning side span 3b and belt loosening side span 3C), so that the tensile force of the belt is suddenly increased on a belt tensioning side and the tensile force of the belt is suddenly decreased on a belt loosening side. Therefore, the impactive vibration is caused in a belt rotating direction. By preventing the tensile force of the belt on the belt tensioning side from being increased by a 1st tensile force fluctuation absorption means 4A and the tensile force of the belt on the belt loosening side from being decreased by a 2nd tensile force fluctuation absorption means 4B, the fluctuation of the tensile force of the belt 3 is restrained and the vibration of the belt 3 is absorbed.</p> |
