<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent switching element from deteriorating in the characteristic and dielectric breakdown between wiring by static electricity in the manufacturing process and after completion of a display panel. SOLUTION: High-resistance parts 9 provided at wiring end parts of signal wiring 2 and scanning wiring 3 are connected with a short circuited line 8. Even if electric charges are impressed on a substrate before parting it, they are dispersed to other wiring via the high resistance parts and short circuited line 8. Further, even if electric charges due to static electricity are impressed on the substrate after parting, the high resistance parts 9 are left between a parted end and a display area and voltage drops through the high resistance parts 9 before reaching the display area from the parted end.</p> |
