<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the selection of a vehicle information menu through the picked-up image of a virtually displayed operation finger without moving the line of sight while driving onto a touch panel controller once and viewing the kind and arrangement of a button. SOLUTION: This touch panel controller is provided with a human sensing means 12 for recognizing that a sensed object is an operation hand 30 and generating access signals 12a and an image pickup means 14 for setting a focus distance in an access area so as to generate the two-dimensional image information 14a of the operation hand 30, extracting information relating to a contour from the picked-up image of the operation hand 30 reaching an access distance and generating the two-dimensional image information 14a.</p> |
