PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic alarm lamp recovering method with which an alarm lamp can be automatically recovered even when the report of recovery from a line system package is lost. SOLUTION: The states of respective line system packages 202 stored in an alarm data base 206 are periodically read out, and this alarm database 206 is periodically updated while confirming the real state of the relevant line system package by accessing the relevant line system package 202 based on the states of respective line system packages read out of this alarm database 206 so that the ON state of alarm lamp is automatically recovered.
