PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture the optical switch only through a simple two-dimensional assembling process by moving an optical fiber fixation member by a driving force generation member and switching a connection state. SOLUTION: The input-side end part of an input optical fiber 201 on a substrate 100 is fixed to an input optical fiber holding member 301 by using a fiber pressure plate 311. An output optical fiber fixation member 303 is provided on the substrate 100 right opposite the input optical fiber fixation member 302. To the output optical fiber fixation member 303, output optical fibers 202 and 203 are fixed by using a fiber pressure plate 313. Further, electromagnetic actuators 401 and 402 consisting of coils and permanent magnets for attracting a soft magnetic member 400 are fixed on the substrate 100 so that the soft magnetic member 400 fixed atop of a cantilever is clamped. |
