PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of adopting a maintenance charge system in which in a which toner saving mode 45 taken into consideration. SOLUTION: When the reading action of an original is finished (S1), read image data is recorded on a cut paper(S2). Then, it is judged whether the mode in which the image data is recorded on the cut paper is the toner saving mode or not(S3). In the case that the mode is not the toner saving mode, that means, the normal mode, the number of cut papers '1' is multiplied by a coefficient '1' and added to the accumulated number of sheets P(S4). In the case of the toner saving mode, the number of cut papers '1' is multiplied by a coefficient '0.75' and added to the accumulated number of sheets P(S5). Thus, the accumulated number of cut papers P obtained by taking the consumption of toner into consideration is added. |
